Security
The club is protected by a security system on all windows, exterior doors, and pantry doors. Whoever enters the club with a key must also have a security code to de-activate the system or soon the police will arrive. The club will have to pay for false alarms. DO NOT enter the club without a passcode. Once you have your passcode, use the instructions below to enter or leave the club.
If you know the GENERAL SECURITY CODE and continue to require access, please call Joe Discenza for a personal code. Special Events and rentals have their own individual codes if needed. If you have a key and no code, please return that key to any Club officer. When opening, DO NOT LOCK PUSH BARS OPEN. When leaving, set alarm and LOCK ALL DOORS.
Rear patio doors may be locked open by screwdriver turn. Check both doors before attempting to set alarm.
INSTRUCTIONS:
DISARMING THE SYSTEM (entering the club)
l. Enter through designated entrance, either front door or the handicapped (side) door, NOT through deck doors.
2. The keypad sounder will beep - you have 45 seconds to disarm system.
3. Go to the keypad and enter your access code number. If you make an error, press the (#) key and enter the code again.
4. The ARMED LIGHT will turn off and the keypad buzzer will stop.
ARMING THE SYSTEM (last one out)
1. Close all protected doors and windows, including deck doors, front doors, handicapped door, and doors between kitchen and bar. Have everyone at the exit door ready to leave the club. The person setting alarm must be last one leaving club.
2. Set alarm; When the time and date appear on the LCD keypad display, press the pound key (#) . The "ENTER CODE TO ARM SYSTEM" message should appear.
3. If the display message is "SECURE SYSTEM BEFORE ARMING" recheck doors and windows.
4. Enter your 4 digit code. If you enter the code incorrectly, the keypad will beep and you will need to re-enter your 4 digit code.
5. Remember, you only have 45 seconds after setting the alarm to leave the building and secure the door.
IF YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN YOUR CODE, DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THE CLUB
Call Joe at 868-8881 or 303-0167 or John at 659-0700.
If the alarm sounds while you are still in building, re-enter your code (that should stop alarm) and stand by phone in kitchen. Security monitoring service will call on the club phone. Give the password if you know it, or have them them call one of the above people.
ANNOYING BEEPS
One “feature” of the system is a beep when a security door opens. You can turn that off simply by pressing star(*)-4 on the control panel.
Unless you have an entry code, you cannot enter the building unless it is already open!
